This year Egmont invites you to meetings with authors, panels devoted to comics from a Polish publisher, publishing announcements for 2021 and a summary of the last 30 years of the company’s activity. Among the invited guests are artists who have been friends with the festival for years: Grzegorz Rosiński, the legendary creator of the Thorgal series , as well as the author of the albums Szninkiel , Zemsta hrabiego Skarbka , Western and Skarga lost Ziemies , which were released this year in a new edition, and Grażyna and Zbigniew Kasprzakowie, who will tell about the anthology of the Gods from the Aquarius Constellation. There will also be new guests, such as Bill Sienkiewicz, multiple winner of the Eisner Prize, creator, known for his very characteristic style, author of illustrations, among others. for the albums 30 dni Noc , Daredevil and Elektra Assassins . We also recommend talking to the Skalp cartoonist , RM Guera.
In addition, viewers are also invited to meetings with the authors of the BRADL series – Tobiasz Piątkowski and Marek Oleksicki, as well as the followers of the cult Kajek and Kokosz by Janusz Christy and the creators of the series Lil and Put – Maciej Kur and Piotr Bednarczyk. Noteworthy is the meeting with Bartosz Sztybor, the author of the scripts for the series Niezła draka, Drapak and Rufus, a wolf in sheep’s clothing , published by Egmont , who will talk about how to work for foreign publishers (currently he is a co-creator of The Witcherfor Dark Horse Comics). Apart from meetings with authors, it is worth listening to discussions on comics from Egmont’s portfolio. On Saturday, a panel discussion on the influence of comics on pop culture will take place on the main stage, and on Sunday, a meeting entitled “50 Shades of Harleen”. For all fans of good comics, meetings with Tomasz Kołodziejczak will also be interesting, who on Saturday will talk about publishing plans for 2021, and on Sunday summarize the 30 years of Egmont Polska. The panel devoted to nominations for the album of the year promises to be equally interesting. Among the ten titles nominated for the award, there are two albums published by Egmont: the fourth volume of the Bradl series by Marek Oleksicki and Tobiasz Piątkowski, and the fifth part of the series created by Berenika Kołomycka.The Little Fox and the Big Boar .
In addition to the meetings on the Main Stage, the Premium Zone will also be available. There will be additional recordings, including the second part of the meeting with Grażyna and Zbigniew Kasprzak and a conversation with Tomasz Kołodziejczak about the 30th anniversary of Egmont Polska. In the VOD mode, the materials will be available from the start of the festival on November 14 to November 30 this year.

Joker’s helper has gone through several incarnations. Does he still only live in its shadow? The International Festival of Comics and Games is the largest event of this type in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. The last edition of the festival at the Expo-Łódź hall in Łódź was visited by over 20,000 people.
