Nowadays, dates are very uncertain, and as the pandemic unfolds, more and more plans have to be postponed, including the premiere and the start of shooting. Right now, Thor: Love and Thunder is due to start production in January 2021, and as everyone knows, it’s time to get your team together before you hit the road, the movie crew is getting bigger and bigger.
Reports say Maryann Brandon was involved in the production. She is known for her work on films such as Venom (2018), How to Train Your Dragon (2010), Dark Minds (2018), Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Star Wars: Skywalker. Rebirth (2019) or Star Trek (2009).
Taika Waititi is very excited to work with Brandon and to start shooting. He says that due to delays, he had a lot of time to correct and change the script. We read:
The story is crazy and very romantic. I am very interested in romance these days and I just want to do an affair. I want to create something that I have never created before and that once did not matter so much to me. I really can’t wait to face this.
Chris Hemsworth returns to the role of Thor in the film, with Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. Christian Bale will also appear, possibly as a black charkter. It is still unknown whether we will see Tom Hiddleston as Loki in this part. The audience will watch Thor: Love and Thunder on February 11, 2022.
