The previously announced presentation of the new Dying Light has finally taken place. Yesterday at 21:00 a special Dying2Know broadcast took place on Twitch . It confirmed the unofficial reports circulating on the network, according to which the premiere of the game is scheduled for the end of 2021. We also wrote about it . It’s been a long time since we got to see Dying Light 2 , but it finally got to be. This is actually the first major production news since E3 2018, when the continuation of the title was announced. Actually, it’s not Dying Light 2 anymore , but Dying Light 2: Stay Human, because that is the name of the game. The wait was worth it, however, because the new gameplay, although only 7 minutes long, looks very good. He briefly presented the regions of the world, the importance of the hero’s choices, rival factions, as well as the very efficiency of Aiden, in which the players will play. See for yourself:
Earlier rumors suggested that the game had some production problems, and the prolonged silence on the part of Techland only strengthened these conjectures. If Dying Light 2: Stay Human actually had problems during the development phase, they are not reflected in the product shown on the gameplay. Playing at this moment promises to be great.
Its action will take place 15 years after the events of the first installment of Dying Light. The world destroyed by the apocalypse is no longer safe. During the day, the threat is posed by groups of bandits, various hostile factions or hungry survivors, whose desperation will push them to the worst deeds. At night, the infected wander the streets – they leave their dark hiding places to feed on the living. In the middle of it all lives Aiden Caldwell, the main character and one of the survivors. His exceptional agility and combat skills make him a formidable ally capable of achieving what others have not achieved. The fate of the city is in his hands – in your hands.
Dying Light 2 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The game will be divided into three editions: basic for PLN 199, Deluxe for PLN 269 and Ultimate for PLN 339. The latter will expand the gameplay with DLC and digital deluxe content, and the latter with more DLC and Ultimate digital content.
