Dune 2 filming finished? Chalamet confirms!

Work on the continuation of the Oscar-winning  Dune  lasted many months. The film is not expected to hit theaters until November next year, but Chalamet’s Instagram post reveals that filming has just been completed.

 

The lead actor recently shared a photo on social media where he poses with his dad. The description suggests that the shooting for  Dune: Part 2  has officially been completed. It is true that it may only be about his participation, but rather pictures without such a significant figure would not make sense. Therefore, probably the entire film production also ended it.

In addition to Timothée Chalamet, the second part of the film will see, among others: Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista and Stellan Skarsgård as returning to their roles. New cast members include Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux and Souheila Jakub. The director was again named Denis Villeneuve .

The second film will be the story of Paul Atreides’ mythical journey, the alliance he forges with Chani and the Fremen, and the warpath he embarks on to take revenge on the conspirators who destroyed his family. Faced with a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, he will do everything to prevent a nightmarish future that only he can predict.
