“Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” in Polish cinemas!

Soon it will be 20 years as the last time viewers in Poland could watch the adventures of Goku and the company on the big screen. Soon, the screened work of Akira Toriyama will return to the country on the Vistula River.

The UIP distributor announced that the Polish premiere will take place  on August 19, 2022 . There is no information at the moment whether it will be a subtitled or dubbed version. It may turn out that the Polish distribution will use a maneuver similar to the anime film Jujutsu Kaisen , where some of the screenings were for reading and some with the voices of Polish actors. It makes perfect sense as it will reconcile both fans who love the original soundtrack and those who want to go to a movie with children.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is the first movie in the Dragon Ball universe to use partial computer effects to create animations (CGI). The character concept of the new production comes from the author of the Dragon Ball manga Akira Toriyama. The director of the new film is Tetsuro Kodama.

The action of the new film takes place in the near future after the events of the new Dragon Ball Super manga . The Red Ribbon Army returns and with it mad scientists and new characters such as androids Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. Interestingly, the main characters are not Goku and Vegeta but Son Gohan, Piccolo and Pan.

At the moment, we have information about the film’s screenings in the Multikino and Helios cinema networks. We are waiting for news from the next ones.
