The latest installment of the "Doom" series of games, however, will not go on sale next month.
Developers at id Software announced a significant delay in the release of Doom: Eternal . The title, which was supposed to debut on November 22, this year, will not appear on the market until March 2020. The developers of the game justify this decision to ensure the highest possible level of gameplay.
By the way, the team responsible for the latest Doom revealed some additional information about their game. Invasion Mode will be available as a free update post-launch. It will allow players to enter the game of other users in the form of a playable demon. Doom 64 will now be an Eternal pre-order bonus on all platforms, not just Nintendo Switch. The title will go on sale in 2022. The version of Doom: Eternal on the aforementioned Switch will be released last. The developers have not yet announced the exact date.
