Fans of the cult series Doctor Who saw the return of Christopher Eccleston, who appears for the first time since the series ended in 2005. Big Finish Productions has released the trailer for the first installment of Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor Adventures,  announced in August 2020. Titled as Ravagers, it launches   in May this year. Nicholas Briggs (Creative Director of Big Finish) has written three stories in which the Doctor begins a new journey full of surprises. With Christopher Eccleston in The Ravagerswe’ll see Camille Beeput as Nova, Jayne McKenna as Audrey, Jamie Parker as Captain Halloran, Daan Starkey as Marcus Aurelius Gallius, Ben Lee as Lieutenant Farraday, and Clare Corbett as Ravagers. Eccleston sounds very excited to be back in exciting time travels:

After 15 years, it’s going to be exciting to revisit the world of the Ninth Doctor, bringing back the character I love to play.

Big Finish also revealed summaries of the three individual episodes. In Sphere of Freedom, the Doctor is about to shut down the sinister Immersive Games business empire. He is accompanied by a brave cook named Nova. But his plan spectacularly fails… And who exactly is Audrey? In the episode titled Cataclysm, Nova is displaced in time while the Time Eddies spiral out of control. Meanwhile, the Doctor faces the end of the universe. Or is it just the Battle of Waterloo? It gets a little crowded in Food Fight TARDIS! Audrey is haunted by a ghostly doctor.
