Tron: Identity is out now for Nintendo Switch and PC, but fans of the Disney franchise can look forward to another game in the series in the future.
In a new interview published on the Disney website, Heidy Vargas, the producer of Disney Games, revealed that Tron: Identity is just the beginning of the company’s cooperation with the developer Bithell Games. According to Vargas, we’ll be able to see even more, although details on what to expect next haven’t been announced.
We’re working on a few other projects that I can’t mention yet, but of course Tron: Identity marks the beginning of Bithell Games’ collaboration with Disney on Tron games. Players can expect to see more games in the series in the future, but for now, we’re excited to bring you Tron: Identity!

Tron: Identity is a noir crime thriller centered around a brand new program called Query. The detective investigates the explosion and break-in of a building known as the repository and must interrogate various people throughout the building in an attempt to discover what happened. The game ends leaving us feeling like it’s not over yet – so it makes sense that Disney and Bithell Games plan to revisit the idea.
Unfortunately, Vargas didn’t go into details about when we might see the sequel to Tron: Identity or how many additional games fans might see. The Tron series has never been one of Disney’s biggest, but there’s a lot of potential to attract new players. Hopefully Disney and Bithell Games will reveal further details in the near future!
