Yes! You read it right! Disney+ has bookmarked an anime collection that is now available to fans. Unfortunately, there’s a catch – it only works in markets where the Disney’s Star brand is used. The official Disney+ anime collection includes projects ranging from Summertime Rendering to Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War and more. Several original blockbusters, such as Star Wars Visions , are included in the list, as well as some Western animated titles. Exceptions include shows like The Owl House. Disney+ continues to expand this category, so we can expect more titles to be added soon.
The collection is not available to users in the United States. Disney+ hosts some anime locally in the country, but many titles are streamed on Hulu – Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, for example. At this time, we don’t know if this collection will reach fans in the US. Users are curious to see how Disney evolves in its approach to anime. Fans have been vocal about Disney’s lack of communication when it comes to series premieres and simulcasts. Summertime Rendering has suffered because Disney+ hasn’t released the anime – until now – despite debuting in early 2022. This problem repeated itself with Bleachon several European and Latin American platforms. Looking to Japan, Disney+ has assembled a booming catalog of drama titles.
The offer is currently not available in our country and there is no information when it would change. We will keep you updated on any changes!
