The first part of Venom premiered in 2018 and was well received by the public, anticipating the next game. At the moment, the premiere of Venom: Let There Be Carnage is scheduled for the end of June this year and so far there are no indications that the film will be released with a delay. So far, Marvel has not changed the release date of Black Widow , so we can assume that the same situation will be with other productions.
The film’s director, Andy Serkis, spent more time with Venom fans at the recent press conference and provided additional information on the state of the project. According to an interview with ComicBookMovie.com, Serkis says Sony is just waiting for the pandemic to stabilize to see how the box office falls out before marketing for Let There Be Carnage . There is still no official teaser and the marketing efforts are negligible beyond the initial teaser with the logo.
I don’t want to reveal it or talk about it too much, but I had a lot of fun working on this movie. It was great. [It’s] another group of brilliant actors, headed by another avid SAS man, Tom Hardy [laughs]. Hope you won’t be disappointed. It was a real pleasure working on it [the film].
Andy Serkis spoke for ComicBookMovie.com. Serkis was completely lost to the Marvel universe. He first played Ulysses Klaue in both Avengers: Age of Ultron and Black Panther . Then he decided to make more superhero movies for MSC. He is also known for his role as Gollum in the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movie trilogies .
Venom: Let There Be Carnage premieres in June. Serkis says fans may stop asking him when the movie trailer will be released, so we can assume that we will see the trailer any time soon.
