Responsible for directing the last part of the saga is again Colin Trevorrow, whose Jurassic World from 2015 became a real cinema hit. Steven Spielberg, creator of the first parts of Jurassic Park , took over as executive producer again. Today he is fully aware of the great influence, not only on popular culture, but also on the collective imagination of his film, in which he resurrected creatures that died out millions of years ago.

The series of films about Jurassic Park has always aroused great emotions and met with great interest of viewers, but probably no other commercial film has had such a significant impact on the field of science.
Jurassic Park has been the most important thing to happen to palaeontology in the last few decades. This movie introduced dinosaurs to a new generation and did it in a completely new way, admits Stephen Brusatte, professor of palaeontology at the University of Edinburgh, who served as consultant on the latest Jurassic World. – It was a great awakening of the dinosaurs, which resulted in an extraordinary interest in palaeontology studies. As a result, more money could be spent on field research, and museums were filled with exhibits. We are in the golden age of palaeontology and to this day someone in the world finds a new species of dinosaur once a week on average. And it has been going on for over a decade. It is all thanks to the generation of palaeontologists from “Jurassic Park”.
Jurassic World: Dominion is the culmination of this nearly three-decade-long series, but is unlike any other movie that has appeared before.
In the middle of the trilogy, there’s a cataclysm that changes everything, ‘explains Trevorrow. – The dinosaurs are taken off the island and set free. This created an amazing opportunity to see the supposed consequences of a similar event. Jurassic World: Dominion is a story about the need for respect that we should give to nature. If we fail to do so, like the dinosaurs, we will simply become extinct. This film is not only a summary of the trilogy started in 2015, but also the closure of the cycle that began in 1993. All the characters we could watch in the entire saga come to the fore here.
Oscar® -winner Laura Dern, who returned to the world of Jurassic Park after almost 20 years as Ellie Sattler , re-starred in her former role . We can also see Alan Grant again, or Ian Malcolm (i.e. Sam Neil and Jeff Goldblum, respectively) – world-famous palaeontologists, known to us from the first films about Jurassic Park . In addition to them, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing (Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard) will reappear on the screen, a new generation of dinosaur lovers.
Human actors are only half the cast in Jurassic World . The rest are the dinosaurs designed by John Nolan’s team. Of the 27 amazing creatures they have managed to bring to life on screen, 10 feature species of dinosaurs never seen before in the movie. While creating all of them, every effort was made to make their image as faithful to the current state of knowledge as possible, which would not be possible without numerous consultations with palaeontologists. Jurassic Wolrd: Dominion continues the series’ dialogue with the world of science, and the great spectacle that we can now see on the screens certainly has the potential to revive the imaginations of future generations of future palaeontologists.
