Star Wars: Andor is about a spy who joins a rebel group. It has been confirmed that the show will only have two seasons, and it seems Diego Luna is quite happy about that fact. In a new interview with Variety, Luna reveals her relief that the show is coming to an end.
Lucasfilm recently released its prequel Rogue One: A Star Wars Story with Andor, and it was arguably the highest-rated project to be produced since Disney bought the studio. Star Wars is back on Disney+ and there’s no sign of it stopping. After the release of The Mandalorian, you’d think the studio wouldn’t be able to surpass itself, but it has succeeded with its latest Andor series .
This is the last season. It’s just a two-season show that’s really important to my mental health. But knowing it’s over, I want to enjoy it and make the best out of the experience.

Andor is one of the newest Star Wars series to hit Disney+. Luna returns as one of the most interesting characters in the Star Wars universe as Cassian Andor. At Star Wars Celebration in May, the actor revealed that after watching Andor , you won’t believe a Rogue One 1 prequel story was possible.
That’s the idea, to see transformation and awakening. I can’t say how it will be presented, you’ll have to wait until August 31st. But the story is about how much we are all capable of change and transformation. Many times we start knowing the ending, here you know what will happen. It’s all about the little details and what’s between the lines and each layer of character. Even in an epic massive spy adventure series, we’ll have time for intimacy. You will delve into the character and the people around her. It’s going to be interesting, I think it’s going to be dark and fun.
