After a lot of trouble at Blizzard, it’s time for more news. Not only Diablo fans will get hit.
Diablo IV never really got an official release date. Gamers from all over the world only knew that it would not be held this year. Blizzcon’s cancellation information, until further notice, did not make fans of this hack and slash happy. Now is the time for investor information.
It was not the first time that players could learn about the next obsession thanks to the summary documents. Diablo IV and Overwatch 2 are moved to the background. Activision, however, confirms that the decision was a difficult one, and the reason was to focus on fine-tuning the games to meet the demands of the fans.
These are the two most anticipated games in the industry and our team has done a great job in the previous months to polish the next gameplay elements. However, we believe that if we give them more time to finish the production (…) it will affect the development of games in the future. Players will feel well cared for and get plenty of content.

Given the not-so-positive feedback on Diablo II: Resurrected, the delay of these titles doesn’t have to be the worst decision. The previously mentioned product still has many problems with servers and the content is missing. It remains, however, to ask a question; Is it worth supporting Blizzard after their internal problems?
