In recent weeks, fans who eagerly await Diablo 4 have finally been able to experience the game thanks to the open beta. And while this action-RPG trial phase is over, it looks like Blizzard and Microsoft may share more important information regarding the game soon.
Thanks to the reputable insider Billbil-kun, we know that the new Diablo 4 Edition Xbox Series X is to be released by Microsoft on the same day of the game’s release, i.e. June 6, 2023. It seems that the details of this Xbox Series X version were not to be made available but Diablo 4 itself seems to be bundled with it. Because of this, it will cost a bit more than usual and is rumored to cost $559.99.
Since the release of the Xbox Series X in late 2020, Microsoft has released several different bundles and hardware versions. Some of the most notable bundles included Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite , with the latter getting its own unique console. While Microsoft hasn’t received many collaboration packages from third-party publishers, it doesn’t seem like it will be for long.
For now, it’s still unknown when Microsoft and Blizzard will decide to reveal Diablo 4 Xbox Series X, assuming this is true information.
In addition to releasing the game on Xbox Series X/S, Diablo 4 is scheduled to debut on many other platforms on June 6. The full list of platforms includes Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
