Bungie informed about the fundraising effect for fire-stricken Australia.
The Bungie Foundation is proud to announce that US $ 1 million (approximately AU $ 1.6 million) has been raised as a result of the “Watchtower for Australia” T-shirt sale campaign to help those affected by forest fires in Australia. Since the launch of January 14, more than 75,000 T-shirts have been sold and are now on their way to the dedicated Guardians around the world. The “Watchtower for Australia” T-shirt features elements of Australian flora and fauna, as well as a Watchman’s ship patrolling the landscape from above. The collected funds will be donated to the NSW Rural Fire Service and Wires.
“We are very impressed with the amount of support and dedication the Bungie community has shown to Australia during the devastating forest fires. Thanks to Destiny fans , the New South Wales Rural Fire Service will be better equipped for future struggles and better able to serve their community when needed. The WIRES organization will be able to deal with the rehabilitation of sick, injured and displaced animals while rebuilding their natural environment. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for continuing to prove to us how strong the Bungie community is together and for making the world a better and friendlier place, “says Christine Edwards, Senior Manager, Bungie Foundation.
