The developers announced a three-year plan to support the popular shooter. The program includes, among other things, a free upgrade for new generation consoles.
It looks like players will have to wait a little longer for the release of Destiny’s third installment . Studio Bungie intends to support the “two” at least until the end of 2022. The company’s representatives today presented a plan for the three-year development of the game. On September 22 this year, production will be expanded with another large expansion, entitled Beyond Light . The new features include not only an additional storyline, but also a completely new character development path and another element.
Another big event will be the launch of Destiny 2 on PS5 and XBOX Series X consoles. Players using the current generation of consoles will be able to migrate to the newer version for free while keeping all previously purchased content. We do not know yet when the update will take place, but, importantly, the developers ensure that the game will run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.
It is worth knowing that the events of the Beyond Light expansion will continue in The Witch Queen and Lightfall expansions , which will be released in 2021 and 2022, respectively. However, this is not the end of the news. Season of Advent has just begun , the final major event of the third year, introducing the September expansion pack. Bungie also announced that to keep working on Destiny 2 quality , the least popular activities will be removed from the game from time to time. In return, players can count on the return of the most-liked modes and maps from the first part of the game.
Game Destiny 2 is available for free on PC, PS4, and Google XONE stages.
