Some old friends will return in Deadpool 3 . There will also be new heroes, including the famous Wolverine. The latest rumor is the return of the X-Force team, thanks to a tweet from Ryan Reynolds.
Deadpool 3 may see an ‘old gang’ reunite. The film is currently being developed by Marvel Studios following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox. In addition to Ryan Reynolds in the title role, we will once again see m. Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic, Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams. Moreover, there is a chance that the cast will be joined by actors who played members of the X-Force team in Deadpool 2 . This information, according to Reynolds’ statement on Twitter, is not yet official.
On Tuesday, Reynolds tweeted a still of the X-Force team preparing to jump out of a plane, along with the caption ‘X-Force will live forever!’ Just a minute after the post, Reynolds edited the tweet, replacing the text with ‘X will live forever!’.
It is not known why Reynolds shortened the name of X-Force in the tweet, but the photo itself makes it clear who the author had in mind.
Who are X-Forces?
In Deadpool 2 , Wade makes a team of mutants (and a guy named Peter) and calls them X-Force. During the first mission, almost all members die gruesomely. Only Domino, who continued to help Deadpool in the task, survived. In the post-credits scene, Wade travels back in time to “order” time. To this end, he saves Vanessa from death and returns to the site of the fatal X-Force landing. There, we only see him protecting Peter, telling him to go home before he dies trying to help the Zeitgeist get out of the chipper. By the logic of time travel, it can be considered that Deadpool managed to save several X-Force members. Vanessa made a comeback, so why couldn’t X-Force?
In addition to the familiar faces, Deadpool 3 will debut several new characters. This time, Reynolds will be joined by none other than Hugh Jackman, the iconic Wolverine . Matthew Macfayden from Suckers and Emmy Corrin from The Crown also joined the cast . Deadpool 3 is directed by Shawn Levy and written by the Molyneux sister duo Wendy and Lizzie.
