It looks like a person known in the Marvel Cinematic Universe environment will rework the script for Deadpool 3 before principal photography this year. Zeb Wells will be the person in charge of working on the script for the Ryan Reynolds film, as revealed in last week’s casting report, which also confirmed the return of two acclaimed characters from previous Deadpool movies .
Initially, Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin, both known for their work on Bob’s Burgers , were tasked with drafting a Deadpool film. However, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who had been writers for the series for a long time, were later brought on board, resulting in the Molyneux duo’s script undergoing revisions. Zeb Wells recently joined the writing team, but it’s unclear if he’ll be working on another draft or teaming up with Reese and Wernick. Wells, who had previously worked on the Spider-Man comic book series, was also part of the writing team on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law .
Whoever pushes his script for Deadpool 3 will be working with Shawn Levy, who is making his Marvel directorial debut and previously directed photography on Free Guy .
