Marvel fans are eagerly waiting for  Deadpool 3 , not least because the beloved Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine. The gentlemen have been bantering on social media for some time during their preparations for the shoot.

Marvel Studios is gearing up to shoot DeadpoolIt is now officially known that we will see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the sequel. Ryan Reynold and Jackman are privately close friends, and the former convinced Wolverine to return to his legendary role. The two actors compete against each other in prep training , and have even tagged each other in several gym posts. Now Reynolds has hooked Jackman again with a new training photo. The photo with the caption ‘Keeping up with the Jackman’ shows Reynolds in front of exercise machines with a rather disappointed expression. Jackman hasn’t responded to the taunt yet, but he will probably do so soon. Not much else is known about the plot of Deadpool 3 itself, although it is said that it will be a part based on the concept of the multiverse and some characters known from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will appear there .

Jackman had previously categorically refused to return

Back in 2021, Hugh Jackman turned down an offer to return to his iconic role . That was until he announced his return as Wolverine in  Deadpool 3 a year later . During an interview on Jakes Takes, the actor revealed that he had not spoken to Kevin Feige at all.

I’m hearing about it from you [Hamilton] and there’s nothing in my inbox from Kevin Feige, which means there’s probably no conversation whatever I have. Let’s be clear. Now I realized that before we were shooting  Logan , I thought we had an idea. We knew what it was going to be, didn’t we? And I thought that was it. It really, really helped me the fact that I’m entering the last stage, that this was my last season, which I took full advantage of. He is still close to my heart. But I know it’s over. Say it to who you want. Please tell that to Ryan [Reynolds]. Because he still thinks I’m joking.

What has Marvel introduced us to recently?

We will definitely have to wait a little longer for the return of Deadpool and Wolverine, meanwhile recently Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania debuted on behalf of Marvel Studios. This is how Marvel Studios describes it:

In the film that officially kicks off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, superhero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their mission as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together with Hope’s parents, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), they explore the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and embark on an adventure that will push the boundaries of what was thought possible. Jonathan Majors joins the action as Kang.
