An entry with two photos appeared on the official HBO Max Twitter account. Both depict the Tamaran heroine in a completely new outfit. The first of the images posted is a concept art by Gina Dedemenico, and the second is a photo of Ana Diop in the final version of her outfit. This one came from the hand of Laruy Jean Shannon.
The new costume, which looks in part like space armor, is a step in a completely different direction than the current styling for Starfire. A lot of criticism fell on the creators for casting Diop in this role, but an even bigger storm was caused by the rather dull clothes she wore in Season One. At the same time, it is worth paying attention to the appearance of the alien in other media, especially in comics. Very often she is depicted in something that is closest to a skimpy bikini. For some time now, fans of the character have been telling people from DC that they should dress the heroine and end her excessive sexualization.
In the new season, Titans Starfire will begin to discover the secrets of its past and what its destiny is. This process will begin with the arrival of her sister Blackfire.
