DC Comics has unveiled three new superpowered characters related to the HBO Max service. They are intended to give rise to a new comic book series called To The Max.
A few days ago, we learned that a large portion of live-action films involving DC superheroes will disappear from the HBO Max service. Meanwhile, probably to cool down the emotions associated with it, the company announced the beginning of the To The Max comic book series , which will be created in cooperation with DC Comics. It will tell “a story about ordinary people who, with the help of a new character – Max the dog, will reach their maximum potential after being transformed into superheroes.” The series is expected to feature loads of Easter eggs inspired by the streaming giganat content, including Friends, Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, Scooby-Doo and much more.
The first three, 8-page comics are now available. They describe the story of Hector, Brian and Olivia, who meet a dog named Max and gain superpowers that allow them to teleport, fly, and change their appearance.
