Dave Bautista has increasingly been cast in large Hollywood productions in recent years. As a rule, these are science fiction movies. As it turns out, another picture of this type with his participation appeared on the horizon.
The former professional wrestler will star in Universe’s Most Wanted . The film tells the story of a group of cosmic criminals who hid on Earth while escaping from justice. Bautista will play the law enforcement officer chasing them. He is to be assisted in the chase by the son of a land sheriff. For now, this role, like the criminals, has not yet been cast.
The project is directed by Brad Peyton ( Rampage: Wild Fury ). F. Scott Frazier and Jimmy Loweree are responsible for the script. ASAP Entertainment, Dream Bros Entertainment, and ACG Studios will be producing. The latter are also supposed to be involved in casting. The film is scheduled to start shooting next spring.
Dave Bautista is particularly fond of science fiction. He appeared, inter alia, in Riddick , Blade Runner 2049, and of course in the Marvel movies as Drax the Destroyer. Next year we will also see him in the Dune remake .
