Michael Thorn, president of script programming at FOX, announced Wednesday that Krapopolis has officially been renewed for a third season. To make things better, not a single episode of any season of the show has aired yet. Here’s how confident FOX seems to be in Harmon’s latest series.
The 2023-24 season is the perfect time to launch this highly anticipated and hilarious animated comedy that will captivate fans with its humor and storyline. The more we see from the production, the more excited we become about the creativity, storylines, flawless execution, brilliant voice cast and ability to deliver episode after episode. It is an era of astonishing events and outrageous, unexpected hilarity.
Thorn said.
This is good news for Harmon as his acclaimed Rick and Morty series has been the subject of controversy. Series co-creator and star Justin Roiland faces felony domestic violence charges, as well as numerous allegations of sexual misconduct and assault. He was fired from various TV projects, leaving Rick and Morty solely in Harmon’s hands. With Roiland eliminated, the show goes on as planned.
Krapopolis is a solo work by Harmon, telling the story of a dysfunctional family of people, gods and monsters in ancient Greece. The series stars Richard Adyoade as Tyrannis; Hannah Waddingham as Deliria; Matt Berry as Shlub; Pam Murphy as Amazing; and Duncan Trussell as Hippocampus.
