On Friday, at the D23 event, more information was given about Marvel series that will appear on the Disney + service.
Let’s start the list of news from the series with complete news. During the Marvel presentation, three more productions were revealed that will complete the fourth phase of the MCU. These will be Moon Knight , Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk . No more details have been given yet. The announcement was accompanied by the presentation of the logos of the series. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was also a hot topic . One of the curiosities was the statement by the Falcon impersonator. Many people wondered if Sam Wilson would take over the identity of Captain America after the events of Avengers: Endgame . Anthony Mackie made it clear in a statement for Variety that he is always going to be Falcon.
It was also announced who will join the cast of the series. As it turns out, we will see the return of Sharon Carter, aka Agent 13. This role will be re-played by Emily VanCamp, who was last seen in the MCU in Captain America: Civil War . In addition to her, we will also see Wyatt Russell ( Operation Overlord ). He will play the role of John Walker better known under the pseudonym US Agent. Interestingly enough, he is the son of the movie legend Kurt Russell, who also appeared in the MCU (as Ego in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 ). In July, at Comic Con in San Diego, Daniel Brühl’s production was announced.
One of the most anticipated series is, of course, Loki with Tom Hiddleston. The first season will consist of six episodes each one hour each. They will all be directed by Kate Herron. Some plot details were also revealed. It was already known that the action will focus on the version of Loki, who managed to escape from New York after the victory of the Avengers. As it turns out, the antihero will also travel in time. The materials presented during the panel showed the god of discord on Earth in the 1970s.
There are two more returns to the MCU, this time in the series WanadaVision . Kat Dennings and Randall Park will play Darcy and Agent Woo again. It is not known how the characters will fit into the production plot. Marvel also presented a short material from What if …? . In the first animated production from the Marvel film universe, we can expect, among others references to Marvel Zombies, as well as Peggy Carter as a super soldier – Captain Britain.
