Cyberpunk 2077 , despite a very chaotic premiere and numerous voices of disappointment, is doing quite well in 2022. The franchise is constantly being developed, for example through the series or the announcement of a large expansion. CD Projekt apparently wants to follow in the footsteps of Dziki Gon and, consequently, release another edition of Game Of The Year, this time for Cyberpunk .
CD Projekt has confirmed that it will release a new version of Cyberpunk 2077 in 2023 . Although almost two years have passed since the release, the game began to really develop only in the second half of this year. This is partly due to the huge success of the Edgerunners series and the announcement of the Phantom Liberty expansion . Now, coinciding with the release of this DLC, CD Projekt has revealed that, as with The Witcher 3 , it will publish a new edition of Cyberpunk .
The GOTY (Game Of The Year) version announced by Adam Kiciński will be released at some stage in 2023. This will definitely happen after the release of Phantom Liberty . For now, RED has not revealed when the DLC will be released exactly. However, when that day comes, you can already expect CD Projekt to release Cyberpunk 2077 GOTY , with all post-launch content in one set.

It’s the natural order of things. It was the same with [ The Witcher 3 ], which, after both expansions, was finally released as the Game Of The Year edition and is still on the market in this form today. You can expect the same in this case.
Given that Phantom Liberty will only be available on current-gen consoles, it looks like the GOTY edition will also be released only on current platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and of course on PC. Today, this is not confirmed information, although we should know more details in the coming months.
