Sony Interactive Entertainment has decided that Cyberpunk 2077 will be withdrawn from the PlayStation Store offer until further notice. Owners of the digital version of the title can still play, receive technical support and download updates. Physical copies of the game have not been withdrawn from sale. The representatives of the Warsaw studio promise to fix the most critical errors as soon as possible so that this item returns to digital distribution for the Sony console.
Despite the same problems with Cyberpunk, Microsoft does not intend to exclude the game from its digital offer for Xbox. Instead, the company assured that dissatisfied customers wanting to get their money back should not face more problems. Americans have even promised to modify their refund policy so that anyone who complains will get back the full amount.
So far, only the desktop version is doing as expected. Ratings range around 9/10 on most major industry websites. It is not known how much time CD Projekt Red will need to repair the console versions. It probably won’t be sooner than in a couple of weeks.
