The date of the Night City Wire event is getting closer and closer, during which we will see fresh gameplay from the upcoming game from CD Projekt Red studio, as well as learn more about it. Meanwhile, with the help of a Reddit user, we can read about some of them now.
GameStar.de hosted a series of podcasts on its website, which mainly concerned Cyberpunk 2077. The participants of the conversation were Miles Tost and Philipp Weber – designers of the title. Unfortunately, these are only available in German and quite a few of them require a premium subscription. Fortunately, one of the Reddit users with the nickname Moraez pulled out and translated the most important information, thanks to which we learned many interesting details. Take a look below:
- The technological leap in level design between The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 is comparable to that between The Witcher 2 and the Wild Hunt
- Cyberpunk 2077 will not have as many icons on the map as it did with The Witcher 3
- Over 700 people are currently working on the game
- There are at least 3 times more ways to end the mission than in The Witcher 3 . The creators of each task thought about what the stupidest player can do, and the mission can continue anyway. As an example, a character runs away and buys a hamburger instead of fighting.
- Over 1000 NPC characters have their own routines designed
- There are no rules when designing tasks. Even if the mission is complete, the developers keep playing it until launch to make sure everything is perfect.
- Keanu Reeves was involved in the project a year before its announcement
- There have been many improvements to the combat from what we saw in the last show
- When the player is in the so-called “Cyberspace” has the ability to summon creatures and warriors drawn out of fantasy-RPG.
We have to wait for more information until June 25, when the E3 Night City Wire show will take place there. The game is still in development, and its premiere is scheduled for September 17. The title will be released on future and current generation consoles and on PC
