The largest Polish game publisher has established cooperation with CD Projekt RED studio. This is the aftermath of the collapse of the CDP publishing house.
One of the most famous events in the world of the Polish gaming industry in recent months was the crisis of the CDP publishing house. Initially, the release of the upcoming CD Projekt RED hit, Cyberpunk 2077 , was questioned, but customers were quickly reassured by ensuring that everyone who placed pre-order will receive the product on time.
Today, however, it was announced that RED has established cooperation with Cenega – the largest Polish video game publisher. Thus, Cyberpunk 2077 has found a new publisher. Cenega also plans to re-release the studio’s biggest bestseller, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt .
It is not the first time that both companies have cooperated. They have been operating on the Czech, Slovak and Hungarian markets for several years. Michał Nowakowski, Member of the Management Board of CD PROJEKT SA, spoke warmly about the cooperation:
Cenega is an experienced distributor and our proven partner outside Poland. Our cooperation to date on the promotion of Cyberpunk 2077 in Hungary means that I am convinced that the distribution activities in the country will be at an equally high level.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on PC, PS4 and XONE on September 17. Recently, CD Projekt RED announced that owners of a copy of the game on Xbox One will receive a free update for the upcoming Xbox Series X console.
