After the success of “The Witcher”, Netflix still sticks to the atmosphere of fantasy. The streaming giant today published the first photos and a poster of the new series – “Cursed”. The star of “Thirteen Reasons” will play the main role.
Cursed is an adaptation of a novel by Thomas Wheeler and Frank Miller. Both the book and the series offer a new look at the legend of King Arthur. The main character is Nimue, destined to become the Lady of the Lake. During her adventures, the girl meets a young mercenary named Arthur. Together, they go in search of Merlin to give him the ancient sword.
The series will be starred by Katherine Langford, who was made famous recently thanks to her scene in Avengers: Endgame . The scene was not included in the final version of the film, but you can watch it on YouTube. In addition to her, in Cursed we will also see Devon Terrell, Gustaf Skarsgard, Daniel Sharman, Sebastian Armesto, Matt Stokoe, Lily Newmark, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Emily Coates, Billy Jenkins, Bella Dayne and Peter Mullan.
The poster shows the main character holding a sword, while in the photos we can see the cast members in various scenes from the series. The production premiere is scheduled for the summer of this year.
