The refreshed version of “Crysis”, announced in April, has been officially delayed. This is a bit of a surprise announcement considering the title didn’t have an official release date yet.
The developers from Crytek studio informed about everything via Twitter. According to leaks, Crysis Remastered was originally supposed to debut on July 23 this year. Moreover, a new trailer with a confirmed release date should be presented today. According to the official version, the creators want to give themselves some extra time to polish their work. In addition to the delay in the release date, pre-orders for most platforms have also been suspended. The exception is Nintendo Switch, the console on which the Crysis series is yet to debut. For now, it is not known when the title can be released. If the studio really only needs a few extra weeks, we can expect the game to debut in August or September.
