Cruella 2 – Disney has announced the start of work on the continuation of the hit production

The absolute hit movie of recent days “Cruella” has been gathering more and more positive opinions from viewers and critics. Disney’s production will soon be continued. Will we see Emma Stone in the title role again?

 

The world premiere of the movie Cruella  took place on May 28, 2021. Although the cinema revenues are currently only $ 48.5 million, the production has become a huge hit on the Disney + platform, which requires a payment of $ 30 to access the movie. Unfortunately, until now, cinema fans in Poland can watch the prequel  101 Dalmatians only on the big screen.

Disney admitted in an official announcement that Cruella received many positive reviews and praise, among others, for the rock atmosphere of the 70s. The action of the film takes place in London, at a time when punk rock ruled fashion. Fans around the world were delighted with the production, and according to a Disney announcement, they will soon be able to expect the second part.

According to  The Hollywood Reporter , the director of the first part, Craig Gillespie, and screenwriter, Tony McNamara, are to be involved in the work on the movie  Cruella 2 . Unfortunately, we do not know if Emma Stone will play the title role. Production fans, however, cannot imagine a different turn of events.

Cruella’s film is the story of the rebellious beginnings of the legendary fashion dictator Cruella de Mon. Estella, because that is the name of the main character, has an extraordinary sense of style. It is precisely this fashion that arouses the interest of Baroness von Hellman. Viewers can see how the girl changes like a butterfly from a gray seamstress to a crazy Cruella craving fashion treasures.
