According to The Hollywood Reporter, work is already underway on the script for the next solo film about Captain America. It is created jointly by showrunner of the series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier – Malcolm Spellman – and one of the writers of the same production, Dalan Musson. It is not known who will direct this picture.
The news of the film appeared shortly after the sixth and final episode of the series about the adventures of two of Steve Rogers’ best friends debuted on Disney +. In the title film, Captain will be Sam Wilson played by Anthony Mackie. He officially took over this title in the season finale of the previously mentioned production.
For now, there are no plans for a possible release date for the film. Considering that the Marvel Studios publishing plan for the next few years is already full, we will probably wait a long time for it.
