Abroad, things are a bit different. On November 16, 2021, the first episode of Flash season 8 will be released . Unfortunately, it will be a long time before that happens in our home country.
However, today we can confirm that Rick Cosnett will return in the eighth season! He confirmed this on his Instagram with a very familiar haircut.
To all the uninitiated, Rick Cosnett starred in the show’s first season as Eddie Thawne! He was Iris West’s first lover and, of course, one of the most important ancestors of Eobard Thawn. Yes, that’s this Thawn. The famous antagonist of the series, Reverse Flash. Matt Letscher played the role of this antihero in the first season, and was later replaced by the now famous Tom Cavanagh.
Unfortunately, we don’t know if Rick Cosnett will return as Eddie Thawn. It is true that his hairstyle in the photo indicates this, but we cannot confirm anything. Some fans, however, speculate that Eddie will become Cobalt Blue. In the comics, Malcolm Thawn (precisely known as Cobalt Blue) is Barry Allen’s missing twin brother and a cunning speedster. We cannot confirm whether this will happen. However, the aspect of appearance is a huge difference to comics.
