The #CosplayWdom competition has just started, in which the task will be to impersonate a fictional character at home. The competition runs until December 1.
They are artists who sew their costumes, paint faces and choose the attributes of their characters. It is for them that we organize an online competition, so that despite the pandemic, they can enter the world of fantasy together and take a break from the gray reality for a moment – says Dorota Filipczak-Brzychcy, creator of the Cytadela Festival and the Twierdza Festival.
To take part in the competition, upload your photo to Instagram in a cosplay outfit based on existing pop culture characters or in your own project, i.e. created on the basis of your own imagination. It is important to mark them with the hashtags #CosplayWdomu and #CosplayCytadela respectively for projects imitating fantasty heroes, and for own projects #CosplayCytadela #AlteregoCytadela.
The organizers on December 3, during the live on the Cytadela Festival profile on Facebook, will select and award the best creations. The winning projects from both categories will be placed on posters and materials promoting the Cytadela Fantasy Festival or the Fortress 2021.
