Olga Pushkina – a third-class railway transport technician and future best-selling author – works as a lineman in a booth by the tracks, and only Dmitry the hedgehog keeps her company. Soon after, Rozłazny is shaken by another murder, and the investigating sergeant Maruszkin is arrested. Olga decides to help the policeman in the fight against his terrifying boss, Lieutenant Colonel Babikov. But, in the absence of clues, does it not accidentally take a hoe to the sun?
