Join the crew of the USS Enterprise at the end of their five-year mission, featuring characters from the first TV series – Captain James T. Kirk, First Officer Spock, Lieutenant Commander Scotty, Dr. Bones, Lieutenants Uhura, Sulu and Chekov. Fans of Star Trek certainly be pleased to hear that it is not only the volume which will appear in our market. Egmont is already preparing Polish versions of subsequent titles. These will be a prequel to the Picard series and Konflikt Q, a crossover of the first four series from this universe.
Star Trek has been associated with the comic book world since its inception. The first release that had this title in its portfolio was Gold Key (in the years 1967 – 1978). In 1979, the license went to Marvel Comics, but unfortunately they had many restrictions on the plot. The series under their banner was published for two years. In 1984 the first Star Trek notebooks from DC appeared . In total, the two largest publishers in the world swapped rights twice more. Since 2006, IDW has been responsible for the comic book interpretation of Gene Roddenberry’s world.
