The beginning of The Books of Magic, one of several new series that takes place in the Sandman universe created by the famous Neil Gaiman.
Timothy Hunter has learned that he is destined to become the world’s greatest mage. The boy wants it very much, but he has to deal with the problems of an ordinary teenager on a daily basis: the aggression of the school bully, his own awkwardness in matters of the heart or his father’s depression – and magic will not help to solve these problems.

Autorką scenariusza komiksu jest młoda, lecz już kilkakrotnie nagradzana scenarzystka Kat Howard („Roses and Rot”, „An Unkindness of Magicians”), a rysunki wykonał znany artysta Tom Fowler („Doom Patrol”).
