Thorgal. Selkie, vol 38
Script: Yann Le Pennetier
Drawings: Frédéric Vignaux
Translation: Wojciech Birek
Thirty-eighth volume of the legendary fantasy saga about the vicer Thorgal Aegirsson. The series was invented by the famous screenwriter Jean Van Hamme and the outstanding Polish cartoonist Grzegorz Rosiński.
The title character finally returns from his dangerous journey to Suthreyjar, but he is not destined to enjoy the peace at home. His baby girl Louve is kidnapped by wild visitors from distant islands! Thorgal and his son Jolan set out to help her. They will witness a bloody island custom, learn an old tale about a beautiful woman of the sea people, face an ancient curse, and once again take part in a rivalry between divine forces. They will also meet new friends who – perhaps – will stay longer in the stories of dark-haired viking. The latest story of Thorgal will not disappoint readers either in terms of adventures or unusual events! The scripts of “Thorgal” are currently written by Yann Le Pennetier, co-author of other series in the same universe – “Thorgal – Louve” and “Thorgal – Youthful Years”, as well as dozens of adventure, fantasy or youth series. The drawings for this volume of Viking adventures were created by Frédéric Vignaux, a graphic artist specializing in historical and legendary tales.
