Before the Day Rises
Script: Grzegorz Janusz, Marika, Tomasz Pastuszka, Rafał Skarżycki
Drawings: Ernesto Gonzales
Ideally, this comic book should never be made. Unfortunately, we live in a world where wars are constantly waged in the name of exuberant fantasies, by monsters without conscience. Contrary to the theory quite popular among people with no imaginations, war is not an adventure. It is also not the time of heroes when their characters harden and forge bravery. War is death, destruction and the despair of survivors. These stories are about them. About the innocent victims of the war.
“Before the day comes” is the debut album of cartoonist and comic book lover Ernesto Gonzales. It is a collection of stories about the stories of the Warsaw insurgents. The authors of the scripts are Grzegorz Janusz, Marika, Tomasz Pastuszka and Rafał Skarżycki.
