Another volume of stories about a cynical “working-class magician” – John Constantin, this time interpreted by Warren Ellis. When John learns that his ex-girlfriend has been brutally murdered, he decides to find the perpetrator of this act. During the search, leading to the dangerous corners of the magical world of London, he reuses his friends and ruthlessly exterminates his enemies, reminiscing about his old loves.
Hellblazer is Vertigo’s longest-running series (1988–2013). Over the years, the scripts of John Constantine’s adventures have been written by many famous authors, including Garth Ennis, Paul Jenkins, Warren Ellis, Brian Azzarello, Neil Gaiman and Grant Morrison. The author of the script for this volume is British creator Warren Ellis, known for such works as “Transmetropolitan”, “Planetary” or “Authority”.
