Hitman, vol 3
Screenplay: Garth Ennis
Drawings: John McCrea
Translation: Marek Starosta
The third volume of the adventures of the hired killer Tommy Monaghan. Tommy has made many mistakes in his life – many more than the others. The opponents with whom he had dealt so far had not been the most dangerous, so he could easily deal with them. Now, however, the past is standing up for its own, and Tommy and his friend Natt Czapa have to face SAS specialists. Added to this is the mafia’s revenge weighing on them. In this situation, what could be better than enlisting in the mercenary army of a small African state? But is this really the best idea? Hitman’s character was created by two Irish creators – Eisner Award winner, screenwriter Garth Ennis (“The Preacher”, “Hellblazer”) and cartoonist John McCrea (“The Preacher”, “Spider-Man”). In 1999, HITMAN was honored with the Eisner Prize for Best Single Book.
