The second volume of a story set in a place where the monsters of myth, legend and fairy tales still live! There is a course on fantasy creatures on the island of Vorn, but the fun and competition between Professor Balzar’s students are disturbed by terrifying events – someone turns living creatures into glass statues! Teen Czarolina, who has the power to recognize supernatural species, suspects that she herself unknowingly triggers a spell of transformation … Fortunately, in solving the puzzle, she can count on the help of her friends and the professor. The atmosphere on the island grows darker and darker, especially as the heroes come across new secrets about the magical inhabitants of Vorn. Czarolina will have to face dangerous challenges and, above all, learn the truth about herself!
The series’ writer is Frenchwoman Sylvia Douyé, co-author of comics for young people (“Marie-Lune”, “Girlz”) and promoter of science, and the drawings are the work of the Italian graphic artist Paola Antista (“Chats!”, “Alix et Arsenou”).
