American wrestler from the WWE federation, Xavier Woods (born Austin Watson), appeared at Comic Con in San Diego as Mojo Jojo from the well-known Powerpuff Girls !
Austin Creeds, in addition to the Mojo Jojo cosplay you can see here , later posted convention center posts where he found a new Golden Girls figure set for purchase. He also went to the Mattel booth as the company revealed new WWE figures. This includes, of course, a figure modeled on Woods’s appearance.
I’ve always felt there is a similar resonance in the wrestling space, if you’re a fan, and in the gaming space , Woods said. I feel like we all had to struggle with certain things like our last high school years, with lyrics like “Oh you still watch wrestling” or “Oh you still play video games” and then when you cross over, and we are adults losers, suddenly it’s all popular now. I just really like being like a mirror to fans so they can see it’s more or less the same kind of feeling so I want wrestling fans and video game fans to come together because then we can become the biggest fandom and just take over everything and then everything will be wrestling and video games, no matter where you are.
