Comic Con news – summary of the Marvel panel

    Fans who had been waiting for news from the Marvel movie universe were certainly not disappointed. The creators revealed their plans for the fifth or even sixth phase of the MCU!

    At this year’s Comic-Con, Kevin Feige certainly had some surprising news for fans of superhero cinema. At the beginning, he announced that the 4th phase of the MCU will end with the movie Wakanda Forever , which means that at this stage, apart from the above-mentioned production, only the She-Hulk series and the Christmas episode of Guardians of the Galaxy will be waiting for us . By the way, for the first time since the creation of the Universe, the phase will not end with a movie about the Avengers team.

    Of course, the 5th phase will start soon! It opens on February 17 with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania . The creators revealed that the only opponent of the heroes will be the villain MODOK, well-known from comic books. In addition, Scott and Hope will face Kang. Cassie Lang and Janet van Dyne will also be developed. Bill Murray will also star in the film.

    Next in line will be Secret Invasion , which will be released on the Disney + platform in Spring 2023. The main characters are to be Nick Fury and a Skrull named Talos. It was also confirmed that we will see Maria Hill and James Rhodes / War Machine on the screen again. Some may have been surprised to find Martin Freeman joining the cast as CIA agent Everett Ross. We could see this figure before, among others in the  Black Panther .

    On May 5, 2023, the third installment of Guardians of the Galaxy will hit theaters . James Gunn has confirmed that this will be the last installment in the series and the team will fall apart. It was already known that Dave Bautista resigns from the role of Drax. It has also been revealed that we will see a flashback regarding Rocket’s past and thus Baby Rocket! Chukwudu Iwuji will also join the cast as Herbert Wyndham or High Evolutionary. It was also confirmed that Gamora will appear in production.

    The next series to debut on Disney + in summer 2023 will be Echo and Loki ‘s second season . On July 28, Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan will join forces, and we will watch them in The Marvels . Then we will return to the series and the story of the adventures of Ironheart, which is to debut in the movie Wakanda Forever .

    The year 2024 begins with the eagerly awaited Daredevil series, with the full title of Daredevil: Born Again . Charlie Cox will return to the title role, and Vincent D’Onorfio will also be seen on the screen as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin. The production will be based on the iconic comic books by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli. It is to be less dark than in the original and get the PG-13 age category.

    Captain America will return to the screens on May 3, 2024. This time, however, it will not be Steve Rogers, but Sam Wilson. The production received the full title – Captain America: New World Order . The details of the plot have not been revealed yet, but there are many indications that Sharon Carter will also have a large role here.

    Rumors that the Thunderbolts team will join the MCU have also been confirmed. It will include Ghost, Black Widow / Yelena Belova, US Agent, Taskmaster, Baron Zemo and Abomination. The group is to be chaired by Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier. The film will hit theaters on July 26, 2024 and will complete the fifth MCU phase. The next stage is to begin with the Fantastic Four, which will also include two films about the adventures of Avengers – Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars .

    By the way, it was confirmed that phases 4, 5 and 6 are to be collectively called Multiverse Saga . Kevin Feige also revealed that there are plans for Deadpool 3. He also expressed his approval of Ryan Gosling playing the role of Ghost Rider. He also announced the adventures of Eros and Troll Pip, which we could see in Eternals . Still, nothing is known about X-Men joining the MCU, and fans also noticed the absence of the previously announced Armor Wars series .
