Child’s Play has been a staple of pop culture for several decades, and one of the most recognizable dolls in horror is Chucky . With the film franchise set back, this has allowed the new series Chucky to flourish , with a third season set to be released later this year. Season 3 is due to air on USA Network and SYFY in October, and they’ve already given us a glimpse of what’s to come. What is Chucky about ?
In the TV series, Chucky crosses paths with archenemies, old allies and new prey, seeking to create fear and mayhem wherever he goes. After his diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals is thwarted in season 1, Chucky seeks revenge against those he holds responsible: surviving teenagers Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) and Lexa (Alyvia Alyn Lind) ), as well as on his former Tiffany, now his sworn enemy. After escaping from the new Catholic school “Jevon”, will she be able to keep their relationship alive and preferably Chucky once and for all – this time in the capital of the country?
