In April, the SCI FI channel will invite viewers to the series about the cult doll, which has been present in the nightmares of many history fans with a thrill for over three decades. After several film sequels dedicated to Chucky, Brad Dourif returns as the voice of a ghostly toy. This time in the continuing story of the series about its fate and terrifying activities.
Teenage Jake looks for a doll at a garage sale and buys it with the intention of using it in an art project. The boy does not suspect what kind of trouble he has got into and what his new acquisition is capable of. Soon a small American town is rocked by a series of horrific murders. At the same time, in flashbacks, viewers learn the story of the serial killer Charles Lee Ray, without whom Chucky would be an ordinary, harmless toy.
The series will feature Zackary Arthur ( The 5th Wave, TransParent, Mom and Dad ) as Jake Webber; Bjorgvin Arnarson (The Seventh Day ) as Devon Evans, Teo Briones ( Wind River, Lonely Boy ) as Junior Wheeler, Jake’s cousin, and Alyvia Alyn Lind (Blended, Overboard) Lexy Cross, Junior’s girlfriends. The cast also includes Jennifer Tilly ( Bride of Chucky, Liar Liar, Bound), Devon Sawa (Final Destination, Somewhere In between, The Exorcism of Molly Hartle ) Fiona Dourif (Tru Blood, Cult of Chucky). Brad Dourif will speak for the eighth time in the voice of the scariest doll in the history of cinematography. The showrunner, writer and executive producer of the series slasher is Don Mancini, the character creator of Chucky, who is also responsible for directing the first episode. Other executive producers are David Kirschner, Nick Antosca, Harley Peyton, and Alex Hedlund.
In Poland series Chucky premieres on Wednesday, April 6th at 22:00 on the SCI FI channel.
