Preparations for the second season of The Witcher are underway. Thanks to the watchful cameras of the Redanian Intelligence portal, fans can now see two more surprises prepared by the creators.
The first is a change (definitely for the better) in the appearance of Nilfgaardian armor. The earlier armor was one of the most criticized elements of the first season. This time, the black and patterns were removed, and the focus was on a more traditional look, combining the colors of black and gold. Cahir (Eamon Farren) appeared as the model in the photo.
The second surprise, much more influencing the plot, is the interesting situation in which the elven sorceress Francesca Findabair (Mecia Simson) found herself.
The heroine’s pregnancy is an element added by the creators of the series. This thread never appeared in Andrzej Sapkowski’s books, where it is said that elves are much less fertile than humans and give birth to children less frequently. We will see Francesca in a completely new version, as a mother who, as the creators suggest, will do anything to protect her child.

The second season of The Witcher is expected to appear on Netflix in 2021.
