Castle Rock didn’t turn out to be rock solid, unfortunately. The series created on the traditions of Stephen King falls out of the schedule of the Hulu platform.
King’s fans know Solid Rock very well. Some of his novels are set there, and he often alludes to him in his works. As the distributor wrote,
combines the legendary momentum with the discreet portrayal of characters and the development of plots, characteristic of King’s most valued works. It is a monumental saga of the fight between dark and light, set in the fictional town of Castle Rock, Maine. It uniquely combines themes and places from the most famous, liked and terrifying stories of this writer.
Unfortunately, we found out that this psychological horror series has just dropped out of the schedule. Apparently, this decision had been made some time earlier, and the producers had no plans to continue.
The first season of the series debuting in 2018 was based on the film by Bill Skarsgård Kid , the second one told the story of Misery’s origin Annie Wilkes. Lizzy Caplan shone in this role.
