Carnival Row debuted in August 2019 and its continuation was confirmed immediately. Unfortunately, the situation in the world related to COVID-19 caused many delays, and eventually the closure of production for a longer period. The series was successfully completed in September 2021. Despite so many problems, it still enjoys great interest. It was based on A Killing on Carnival Row by Travis Beacham. What is season 2 of the show about?
The action takes place in a fantasy world where humans and mythical creatures must live together. Rycroft Philostrate aka Philo (Orlando Bloom) investigates gruesome murders that lead to many conflicts among the residents. Vignette Stonemoss (Cara Delevingne) and Black Raven plot revenge for the unfair judgments of human power. Tourmaline (Karla Crome) inherits supernatural powers that threaten her future. Faced with a division between society and a threat to freedom, each of the characters will face impossible dilemmas and tests that will test their own moral boundaries.
Who is in the cast?
Carnival Row is an Amazon Prime Video and Legendary Television production. Erik Oleson takes over as producer on the series’ lead. On the screen we can see, among others: Orlando Bloom ( Pirates of the Caribbean ), Cara Delavigne ( Suicide Squad), Brad Van Arragona ( Stay If You Love ), Wesley Strick ( Daughter of Murderers ) and Karla Crome ( The Level ).
