According to the Deadline website, Carmel Laniado will appear in the second season of The Witcher from Netflix. The young actress will play a character named Violet. She is described as a seemingly playful and capricious girl. In fact, she is supposed to be very intelligent with sadistic tendencies. Laniado would play at least three episodes, but it is possible that there will be more. At the same time, her character is only meant to be of secondary importance.
The most avid fans of the world created by Andrzej Sapkowski have probably already realized that the Polish author never included Violet in his books. It also did not appear in the games from CD Projekt Red. It was probably invented specifically for the series.
Carmel Laniado doesn’t have a very impressive CV. Her biggest role so far was that of Doctor Dolittle , where she played Lady Rose. He also appeared in the series A Christmas Carol with Guy Pearc as Ebenezer Scroog.
